Social Studies- 8th grade Social Studies (first semester) will focus on the theme of conflict. We will be studying world geography and different conflicts throughout the world.
Possible topics: slavery and the Civil War
WWI
WWII
Kosovo
Gulf Wars
Vietnam War
Holocaust
7th grade Social Studies (second semester) will focus on natural disasters. We will be studying the effect of natural disasters on people and also geography.
